In 2023, artist Justine Kuran was one of 600 Australian Jewish creatives and academics doxxed and blacklisted for standing up for Israel and the Jewish people. Branded the “Zio600,” with “Zio” hurled as a slur meant to shame them into silence, the attempt was meant to intimidate.

Instead, Kuran reclaimed it. #TeamZio was born — bold, unapologetic, and defiant. This design flips contempt into pride, transforming an insult into a badge of strength and solidarity.
