I’m excited to welcome you to the mispocha. This is a place where you don’t have to “be more” to belong. However you show up — observant, tradition-curious, rediscovering, teaching your kids, or learning as you go — you’re already enough. I created Simcha Kits because finding beautiful, meaningful Judaica shouldn’t feel like searching for the afikomen. I decided to stop kvetching about Jews being underrepresented in so many spaces, and do something about it.

The culture and diversity that make up the Jewish community speak deeply to my soul, mi alma. As a Jewish Mexican granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor, I carry a deep love for heritage, beauty, and belonging, and I wanted to build a space where all of that could live under one roof. We are not one look, one color palette, or one way of “being Jewish.” That truth inspires my work.

I’ve been a designer and self-taught bespoke modiste since 2012, stitching by hand long before I ever imagined this becoming a brand. Those early pieces taught me the same lesson Judaism teaches, that we create holiness with our hands, one act at a time. That care still lives in everything I curate and design today.
